Dr. Ian Sproat graduated medical school in Canada and performed general practice medicine with the Province of Ontario Underserviced Areas Medical Program, serving a First Nations Reservation in Northern Ontario before entering his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at McMaster University Medical Center in Canada. He completed his Fellowship in Angiography and Interventional Radiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center before moving to Wisconsin to eventually become Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. He left Wisconsin briefly to become Chief of Interventional Radiology at the affiliated Toledo Hospitals and the Jobst Vascular Center in Ohio. He returned to Wisconsin and joined Green Bay Radiology where he practices Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
He enjoys fly tying and fly fishing on Wisconsin's beautiful streams and rivers and cooking for family and friends.
